WHAT IS KYOKUSHINDO?
Kyokushindo (極真道) — "The Ultimate Path to Truth" — is the world's most modern full-contact martial arts system. Developed by Kancho Hagen Baer in 2007, it combines traditional karate techniques with the modern demands of 21st-century combat.
Following the philosophy of how things in the world evolve and change — traditional karate must adapt to the modern world. Even the famous founders of the past who dedicated their lives to karate recognized the need for change.
